Important to know upfront
Planning consultation comes first
Before we can raise funds for a buddy, we need your clinical assessment and a costed treatment plan. That initial consultation therefore happens while there is still no sponsorship in place, it cannot be paid for by the patient or by Bek-a-Buddy. In joining the network, you provide this visit at no charge; payment for your quoted treatment follows once the campaign is fully funded.
A processing fee is deducted from payouts
When a campaign is fully funded and paid out, a 7% processing fee is deducted from the payout. The remaining 93% is paid to the practice.
Funded patients, not pro bono
Treatment only starts once the required funds are secured. Payment is made directly to the practice as quoted by you, less the 7% processing fee.
You set the scope and the rate
You determine the clinically appropriate treatment and provide a costed plan at your professional discretion.
No admin
We manage nominations, consent, sponsor communication and reporting. You receive a scheduled patient and a signed plan.
Recognition, handled respectfully
Your practice is credited on the buddy's page and in updates, always with the patient's consent. We're also open to collaborating with you on social media, essentially free marketing for your practice.
